i have replaced wipers on many cars and have yet to have an issue, though never with rainx brand wipers. sounds like they need to improve the precision of their molding process.

Well I've given up. There is no way these wipers are going on this vehicle. It's not going to happen. Probably just take it to autozone. What should be 30 seconds of work for each turned into 2 hours of work, bloody knuckles/fingers and one pissed off OP an inch of punching in the windshield just because.

This is something that should be standardized. All these different configurations are unnecessary.

On my mom's Eclipse, each arm has a different sized J-hook - so you need to use a different adapter on each wiper.

Cue facepalm.

OK, man card somewhat restored. I had to replace the wipers on my TL and click, click, click it was a 60 second ordeal. :)

Of course these were your standard j-hook arms. The saturn has these weird offset hooks.

Figured I'd bump for others. The wiper arm type for the Saturn is a I&L (insert and lock), the books at autozone were much better. But only certain model blades contain the largish adapter required. Picked up some rain-x lattitudes, pricey but they work well.

If you have J hook please stop saying just pull. It aggros me so much I almost can't stop arguing with my dad. He kept saying just pull stfu.

If you take the J hook mount out from the rain x wipers and try mounting just that on the J hook you'll see it isn't just pull. The click and lock only happens at a certain angle unlike the oem tooth mount where you can just pull.

On rain x if you just pull and it doesn't lock you may think it does and when you go drive it could falloff. That's dangerous AF.

If you have trouble mounting the rain x J hook, detach the mount and try mounting just that to see how it works. I wish rain x tells us this but it doesn't. So angry.
