I've seen watches with a few deep notches/grooves on the back but my watch has this oyster back with a million small notches like that on the edge of dime. Is it possible to remove the back on the these watches with some ingenuity and household tools?

Rolex' don't use batteries, this may make that an issue. Although as far as I'm aware it's perfectly doable to remove the back. 🙂

yeah ok but some do but they have this oyster back which my swiss army watch has. I'm wondering how do you remove these things without a special tool.
