Recently bought a core i7 860 but kept my old video card to save money. Its a 7900gt but currently its giving me stability issues, it artifacts at default clock speed. I had a 6600gt lying around and changed it over and my computer became more stable and no artifacts so I think I need to replace video card anyway.

Out of these 3 cards which card should I get? ATI 4890, 4870 or 5770. I need to be able to run on a Antec 500W Earthwatts PS. I read in reviews 5770 has low power usage, but its slower than 4870 and 4890. The 4870 and 5770 is the same price where I live. I need a video card under $200. Is anyone here running a 4870 on a 500W PS?

core i7 860 with a 7900gt, blaspheme.

The i7 860 (Lynnfield LGA-1156) doesn't have the extreme UnCore the Bloomfield LGA-1366 has so it's near 30w better on power. Regardless, you should be able to choose any card, sans dual GPU you want.
