Replacing the T30 eraserhead with one from a T40?

A friend on mine just bought a T40 and the eraserhead/nipple for the trackpoint is very nice compared to the one I use on my T30. His is made of supple rubber with small bumps on the surface while mine is made of abrasive hard rubber. Long "mousing" with the T30's eraserhead isn't comfortable and I was wondering if IBM sells trackpoint eraserheads, specifically the T40 one. Is it compatiable with my T30?


My friend had to leave before I could test swap so I need answers from you guys.
 
As far as I know, yes, all IBMs use the same size Trackpoint cap.

Also, Toshiba caps fit on IBMs. It's a slightly smaller fitting hole, but it fits. (I'm using one right now)
