Replacing the fan on a GeForce3?

Hey all. Simply put, I want to overclock my GeForce3 a bit. As it is now, with all stock cooling stuff (It's a Gainward Powerpack III, which uses a circular fan instead of a square one), it doesn't O/C very well, but with some better ramsinks and a new GPU fan, I'll bet it'll O/C a bit higher.

The only thing I can't figure out is, how am I supposed to remove the old GPU fan and attach, say, a cryorb? Do the pegs holding the fan to the PCB come out easily? Will I need to break them off and attach the new fan with screws and nuts, which it seems is the case with some green chipset heatsinks?

Thanks in advance for any help!

to remove the old heat sink push down on the pins (from the fan side) and pinch in the barbs on the back side of the card as you let off the pin, so the pin can come through the board
if you try to mount a heatsink with nuts make sure to include a nylon washer or something nonconductive so you don't short traces and fry your card
