Replacing the 865PE Northbridge Fan with Passive Cooling => Anyone done this ?

Someone on the Asusboards forum beat me to the punch, but here I go anyway:-

I *HATE* Northbridge Fans - they are loud and annoying.....

For the 865PE boards - some do and some dont have Northbridge fans - what I would like to know is:-

=> has anyone here replaced their 865PE Northbridge fan with a passive non-fan cooler ?

=> if so, what did you use ?

=> apart from voiding the warranty and making sure it is properly installed, and *assuming* you use a good unit like the Zalman NB-32, are there any risks / dangers to using a passive cooler ?

I have on my Soltek 86SPE-L. No problems... the installation was a little strange as Soltek has a unique way of locking the heatsink in place but it's working for me with no problems. Used the Zalman NB-32. It gets quite warm after some heavy use which lets me know it's conducting heat well.
