I'm going to replace my radeon 9000 pro video card, and I'm not really looking to upgrade to anything fancy. Something that will provide the same amount of power that I had before or maybe a little more will be fine with me. I'm looking to spend about 50 bucks. If anyone has any recommendations, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. That's where I was looking but I could not decide on what kind to get since they all looked pretty much the same. Also, my brother was telling me that if I plan to get a video card I should get a nVidia. Is he referring to the newer cards, or an old one? He went camping so reception is bad and I can't contact him.

lol typical fanboy ignorant comment. nvidia is better if you have $500 to spend.

otherwise, its pretty much even. for $50, go with what DaveSimmons recommended.

Exactly, above $400 you want an nvidia right now but under $75 the Radeons are better.

I say this using an nvidia myself, but it's a 6800 ($300 last year, $150 now).

If you're looking to spend $50 you won't be able to get much of an upgrade. At best you might be able to get a 9600, but even that won't be much faster. Spend more on upgrading or don't at all.
