replacing processor

i'm new to laptops in general, but i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to learn about swapping the cpu on my notebook - if it's possible

i currently have a toshiba satellite l25-s1192 with a celeron m 340 (1.5GHz)

if i can't upgrade, i'll understand, but i'm hopeful

Should be able to upgrade the CPU, but I can't seem to find much info on it. Can't find it on Toshiba's website. Do you know what chipset the motherbaord uses? If it's an 855 chipset board(DDR333) then any of the 400mhz FSB pentium-m's should work. If it's the 915 based chipset(dual channel DDR-2) then both 400mhz FSB and 533mhz FSB pentium-m's should work. Of course if it's one of the ones that has the CPU soldedered directly to the motherboard, you won't be able to replace it.

It show the mobo has the ATIraedon 200M chipset, it should support an upgrade

Two questions:
What type of processor should I be looking for?
How easy is it to crack open the case and get to the CPU (to verify it is a socketed chipset and not soldiered)?

It is possible change to Pentium M. Now I am using L25-S1192 and I recently upgraded to Pentium M 740 without any problems. The Speedstep is running smooth. I used Prime 95 without any problems.
