Recently received a Rosewill Line-M case that replaced a Frankenstein altered oem case. Overall the case has been fantastic for the $50 i paid and a first venture into the Rosewill brand.

Contemplating replacing the stock front and back 120mm fans which spin at 1500rpm and produce about 55cfm with a pair of 75-80cfm fans but curious if the swap would be worthwhile?

I slapped a 80mm trispeed Antec i took from my old case on the side panel and it dropped my cpu and gpu load temps a solid 3 cel but i think i would prefer more powerful front and back fans over having the side fan with the stock fans assuming my temperatures drop but not sure yet what to do.

What do you guys think? The build in my signature is what is currently in this case and noise is personally not a concern till we jump pass 80cfm fans but overall good quality airflow is.

After going 120 I don't think I could ever go back to 80's. The airflow to noise is just not worth it to me.

Yeah i am thinking about just swapping out the stock fans for higher cfm, hope i can get overall cooler temps then i do now and if not i guess put the stock rear 120mm fan on the side.

The 80mm honestly is a eyesore but till i swap in some 120mm fans its simply a minor improvement. Was worried that with this case having a more direct front to back airflow that a side fan can actually disrupt that airflow just a bit.

Used to be about maxing out each spot in any given case but these days i prefer smart placement over just filling each hole to the max.

Picked up a pair of Bgears B-Blaster 120mm fans, apparently 103cfm with a 35dba rating which seems fair. Can't wait to see what improvements are to be had.:)Non led is a win as i have grown tired of led fans and at the moment i have two lol.

B-Blasters aren't pushing 100cfm, should have figured that like the rest of the 2,000 rpm fans that i would more then likely get somewhere in the 75-80 cfm range.Luckily my expectations were low and expecting those cfm numbers.

Improvement over the stock Rosewill, remove the side 80mm and just install these two front and back and in game load my cpu on the stock cooler hits a max of 74cel while gpu on a 65% fancurve at 65cel refuses to hit 74cel.

Did put the stock rosewill 120mm on the bottom spot, got a decent degree drop on the gpu which refuses to hit over 68cel at 75% fanspeed but the extra noise and maybe cooling that isn't warrantied sold me on removing it..

Happy with the results overall and the case, doubt any way to improve the cooling further without increasing the noise.:)
