1) Will be used as a HTPC (Must be future proofed to stream 3D content over HDMI
2) Also will be used to game, I don't play any games now but when Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 come out later this year, I will be all over that.

Right now my monitor is only 1280x1024, but I think it's time to upgrade that as well..

Maybe to a 1920x1200?

What do you guys recommend?
 
you are going to have to give way more detailed info about your current pc. and do you have a budget?
 
Right now I have a q9300, but I will be upgrading this summer to a i7-2600k or if AMD brings the noise, something from them.

Budget around $150-$200
