Is there a way to replace a floppy drive with an internal zip drive in terms of functionality.

Currently I have an MSI K7T with the onboard RAID controller, I also use windows 2000. This means that when I install win2k I have to have my driver ready during the setup.

Is there a way to make the system "believe" that my zip drive is my floppy drive and just put the drivers on a zip disk?

I'm all out of room in my case and I want to put another HD in there for backup purposes.

Any ideas? They'd be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Sam

with a modern bios you should have the option to boot from a zipdrive instead of legacy floppy!

In addition, you can also make a bootable zip disk using the Iomega utilities. The drive may not be recognized as Floppy but it sure can take the entire functionality of a floppy except for the slow speed and limited storage capacity. Good on you.
