replacing my DI-624

Hi,
I have a Dlink DI-624 router and it always worked OK. However lately I had a playstation 3 and a Netbook added on my wireless network. Since I have experienced the folowing problems:

1) The PS3 get 90 reception but keeps dropping the connection
2) The netbook (in the granny flat attached to our house) has very low reception and is also dropping connections. A few walls and appliances are in the way for that one.

I can't used wired connection for those two so I was thinking of replacing the router for a better on but I still don't want to spend too much on it. Also as both the netbook and the PS3 are on 802.11g, I don't think it is worth to get a 802.11N router right ?

Could you please let me know what would be a good but under 100$ router to replace it?

Thanks,

you should start with the wireless sticky in this forum and see if you can make things better by following the steps in the thread. changing channels alone may make a nice difference in your reception.

if it doesnt, you probably also have physical interference as a big factor (between walls and distance and such) and one new router likely wont overcome that. two of them in WDS or bridge mode might, but follow the sticky first before you decide on buying something else.

I did that already. Changing channels won't help.

I just saw that costco has a DIR-655 for under 100$. I may try this ono as I can always return it to costco if it doesn't improve my reception. Also It has a 1000M WAN and LAN which can probably improve my wired network.
