Replacing MSI Mb....Need Suggestions !!!!

My old MSI gave out....so I am going to replace my Mb and p. supply. I had a Duron 1g on the MSI and was thinking of sticking with that for awhile, but now would be the best time to replace it. Any thoughts on a good mb to go with. I was looking at the Gigabyte GA 7N 400 L. I don't need anything fancy...don't do any OC and not much into games. Just want something reliable and good quality. And if I was going to replace my CPU what might be the most cost efficient to go with. I'm going to stay with AMD, so maybe a chip in the $70 - 100 range. Is the Barton the best? Have been a little out of touch for about a year.
