Is it true that you can replace a 64mb ram for Brother HL-1440 Laser printer? If so, what type of memory does it use? Link will be very helpful.

it takes normal (old) EDO 72 pin simms , i have two 4mb sticks in mine (10MB total)

i read it can only take 16MB sticks, so i thought the max you could go is 16MB + 16MB + 2MB (onboard) for a max of 34MB

if you don't have any old 72 pin simms laying about, i am sure someone on FS/T can hook you up. the 4MB and 8Mb are very common and should cost next to nothing. if you really want the 16mb's , you might have to hunt a bit more, they weren't as common, you might have to pay a bit more
