Replacing laptop top lid (Toshiba Satellite)

So I've been trying to replace my laptop top lid, by following the instructions found at the following address: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-M70/remove-laptop-motherboard-2.htm

Step 13 says "Carefully pull the wireless antenna cables through the opening and out of the channel."

I did this, and it was fine. There was a bit of masking tape on the cables, but other than that, I just pulled. The cables came out from beneath the plastic layer obscuring the motherboard, so it was impossible to see where exactly they were coming from.

What the tutorial doesn't show, is where those antenna cables were connected to! When putting on the top lid, what are those cables supposed to attach to? Is it the wireless card? And if so, what part of the wireless card? The cables don't really have a clear "shaped head" at the end that can be matched with a similar sized port on the motherboard, as far as I can tell.

Thanks!

The black and white antenna wires connect to the wireless card which may either be a separate card mounted on the motherboard or built into the motherboard.. That tutorial should have said to access the wireless card area and unplug the antenna wires as opposed to just pulling them out from the top.

If you look closely at the pic in step 12 you will see the antenna wires in the lower right corner of the bottom of the laptop. You will need to remove the small cover over that area. The antenna wires snap on to the wireless card connectors like a snap button.

Look at this tutorial also.

Great, thank you.

Yeah that's the exact tutorial I followed when disassembling. The closeup photo of the wireless card is what I really needed though, thank you.

Yes it does.

All was assembled without problems, everything working great with my new replacement fan.

I did initially disconnect the wireless antenna cables properly, before pulling them out from the other side. I don't know why I didn't just look at the earlier steps in the tutorial.

Anyway thanks again.
