Replacing Laptop LCD Screens..?

My laptop is Acer TravelMate 800 (Mobility Radeon 9000). I was wondering if it is possible to change my laptops screen from a 14.1 XGA screen to a 15.0 SXGA screen. And if so, would anyone know where I can find the parts besides the Acer service centers?

Well, from what I've seen the connector and the bezel/cover is the same for the SXGA and XGA screens. So it might be possible..

But I probably need to change the entire top part of the laptop..

Abhi I don't think your post helped.
You can try eBay when it is there. I personally own a 800LCI with SXGA+ but I haven't even taken it out of the box yet! I want my old t40 with SXGA+ back!!! But I am patiently waiting for the T41p to come down to 2k.

What i meant to say was dell gives screen options on their laptops, under the same model, under the same graphic card...

since "zerogear" said, that he has seen that the connector to be same, the switch might be very much possible....

sorry i wasnt clear earlier...
