my old droid x got a black spot on the screen where my keys rubbed against it. im thinking of replacing the screen. are the replacement screens the exact same as the original ones and is it an easy do it yourself repair?
 
i doubt its easy. in fact, i would imagine its very difficult. most phones these days are just about impossible to properly replace the glass.
