Will I run into any problems replacing my Duron 700 w/ a 1GHZ TBird? I've spent many hours setting up my Raid 0 and dont want to start from scratch again. What is the best way to get my Taisol off the CPU- I left the interface material on the HSF and I'm sure its pretty well stuck to the CPU?
 
there shouldn't be an major problems with the change, the most trying part being getting off the heatsink saftely.
most likely the thermal pad will be unusable after removing the HSF so be prepared to remove it completely & instead use a good quality thermal paste!
