Replacing Clutch Pedal Bushings

I have a squeaky clutch pedal. I am pretty sure that it is the clutch pedal bushings.

I have been searching for guides that will make the operation a bit smoother. All I have been able to come up with is guides for a Tacoma and a 4Runner.

My car is a '00 Corolla.

If you know of any good guides, please post the link.

Why not just grease the bushing/bearing points? I seriously doubt they're worn out.

I'll be doing that shortly, but my friends car has the same problem and greasing has not helped...so i'm just planning ahead...
