Replacing cell phone?

What's the best place to get a cellphone without a plan? Me in all my greatness left my old one in the washing machine.

Without a plan? eBay or FS/FT forums. If you buy at a retail store without signing a contract, you're going to pay the full price of the phone, which is at least $150 over the advertised price.

Are you not eligible for a new contract, or do you not want to sign one? Was your phone under warranty? Insured?

I was suckered into signing a 2 year contract with cingular, I still have a year left. No, it wasn't insured.

I have a Sony Erricson T316 that I can sell you for 50 bucks...its not in the greatest condition ....has a few nicks on it. We can negotiate a price if you'd like.

Uhm, did you let it dry out for a few days before trying to turn it on? Chances are it would have worked.

Yeah, it's not turning on. It was also on when I stuck it in there so it might have fried.

NO....fvck that phone, I had it too. why are you looking for $50 for it when I sold it for about 30 bucks last year? that phone is PIECE OF SH!T.

switch over to tmobile and get a phone with $200 rebates to pay for the ETF. I did this when I was with attws.

Don't feel bad....my wife left her cell phone on the back of the boat over the weekend...it's now at the bottom of the lake....or possibly in the stomach of some fish.
