Hi. I have a '95 Nissan Altima with ~70k miles on it. Since 2005, I've been replacing the camshaft position sensor/distributor almost every year. I just put in the third one this morning. I don't know what's going on. The last two that I put in were "new." This third one is a re-manufacture. I found oil inside of all of the bad sensors, and I don't think that it should be there because the sensor uses LED, photo diode, and rotor plate to sense the position of the camshaft. Oil would block the LED's light from reaching the photo diode. Please help. Thanks.
