Replacing audio that's integrated with bluetooth, navi, and steering wheel controls

I have a 2006 Acura TSX and I want to replace the audio with a nicer deck.

If I go to a shop (Best Buy perhaps or a specialty audio) to buy the deck and for them to install, should I be concerned or is it straightforward and should not affect the integration of the audio to the existing bluetooth system, navi system, and the audio controls on the steering wheel?

Replacing the deck will remove the integration of the audio unless the deck you buy has an adapter or can be wired to work with those other systems.

Your best bet is to find an Acura forum and see what other owners have done.

I had to do the same thing. I bought the single DIN metra kit for the Mazda6 and then modified the kit to house a double din audio/bluetooth/nav unit. It was a bitch to install with all the excess wiring but I got it done.
There may be aftermarket kits available for your vehicle that house double DIN.

My cousin got a Pioneer AVIC-01 (iirc), it has the navigation, bluetooth, and all that built into it. It's really a slick unit, but costs a bit much ($800).

It can be done with relative ease. Soundgate makes all the factory integration accessories needed for the install. Just make sure they take a look at your car to be sure they have all the necessary items available.
