I'm replacing a malfunctioning SOYO K7V Dragon Plus motherboard housing an AthlonXP 2000+ processor.

I need:
5+ PCI slots
4 IDE channels (or enough PCI slots to house an IDE card)
Accepts same RAM/CPU/Power Supply
Prefer an onboard NIC.

What would you recommend as a COST CONCIOUS option? I'm hoping for something circa $40.

THANKS!!

That is a good looking piece, I was just hoping to find one a little cheaper. I just poured a fair amount of $$ into this thing, and am looking to manage my losses.

That Soltek MB referenced at NewEgg includes SATA, which wasn't asked after. The Shuttle A35N may be a choice -- it's just about as inexpensive as anything available; not sure if it has a builtin LAN, though.

Yeah, check out the Shuttle AN35N Ultra. It only has two IDE ports of its own, but it does have five PCI, onboard LAN, memory-voltage tweakability, and overclocks decently for a budget-priced board.

edit: by the way, the Shuttle does use a four-pin ATX12V plug, so your power supply should be equipped with one. If it isn't, then your options will be limited these days.
