Replacing an old Raptor

My 74GB Raptor is nearing the end of its 5 year warranty period and I think its starting to show its age so I'm checking on replacement drives. Seems like I can get a new 150GB Raptor for about the same price as a 750GB HDD so I'm unsure which to choose. I've got a 750GB from WD as a storage drive and it seems fast but how will it measure up to a Raptor? I've seen the reviews here and think it would be fine but wanted some feedback from other folks here. Thanks.

The newest 750GB drives are nearly as fast as the current 150 Raptors. You'd be very hard pressed to tell the difference in any real world comparisons. IMHO, Raptors are just a waste of money in most cases today.
