My friends 4 week old Treo 650 was knocked out of his hands by his 6 month old puppy and the LCD screen shattered...

I've seen the Treo 650 screens they sell on ebay for $99, but anyone know if soldering would be involved in the replacement? Or do they simply plug in, akin to how a laptop LCD plugs into the video card.

Might want to ask the sellers of the replacement screens on eBay...

But good luck with that! The Treo 650 is a bad-ass phone. I would have bought it, but I didn't like the small keypad...a bit too small for my taste, but it might be an acquired thing to use it in a quick fashion.

shame it wasnt a 600 i have a few screens you could have. might hit up howardforums.com and see if you can find one cheeper in the fs/ft forum.

The lcd just plugs in its actualy pretty easy just dont loose the tiny screws.
