Replacing a part in my refrigerator

I got the part today. I removed in the inside panel of the freezer and sure enough everything is frozen solid. I purchased a set of heater elements. That I imagine get installed inside this whole mess. Anyone have any tips.

I'm going to try and melt the ice with a hair dryer. It looks like the water is supposed to drain down a hole in the bottom of the freezer.
