about a year ago, I spilled hot tea over the keyboard of my iBuypower notebook. The computer shut off and I was not able to boot it up since(the power button works because the power light comes on when I press it.) The fans start spinning but constantly spin and never goes into idle. The screen stays black. I was thinking maybe replacing the motherboard but its a product from iBuypower..do notebooks use "standard" size parts much like atx or micro atx or does it depend on how the manufacturer designs their parts?

Laptops are all unique-that's why they come in different shapes and sizes, plus the ports are placed differently in different laptops. If you want to replace the motherboard the easiest way would be to go back to the manufacturer...
