replacement warrenty at Best Buy

My 2 year replacement warrenty on the xbox I bought at Best Buy is about to run out and I am going to return it in order to get the DS Lite coming out. However, I was wondering if I could return a different, broken, xbox so that I can keep mine? Must I return the same exact xbox, or is it possible to return a different one?

the warranty will just fix / give you another working xbox.

100% agree, this is a d-b move on the OP's part. As much as I hate Best Buy, this kind of activity makes it worse for all of us who don't try and defraud the system.

i'm pretty sure they scan the serial # on your receipt FWIW (regardless if you bought the 2 year warranty) . Check your receipt, it most likely is recorded there.

Price match rebate stunts do not defraud the system retard, the system allows for them, no where does it say we cannot fill out multiple rebates or pricematch + rebate, and if Best Buy really gave a sh!t about a bunch of SlickDealers scoring a $20 or two they'd do something about it. HOWEVER, replacement warranties exist SOLELY to replace BROKEN OR DEFECTIVE equipment, not to cater to pricks like yourself who got sick of the toy they bought 2 years ago and want a new one.
