Replacement UPS batteries...

edro

Lifer
Here are used ones for $8.50 each.

I called them and the lady said that they are in great condition and work great.

I need 5-6 of these for my 2 UPSs that have bad batteries. (One holds 4-5, the other holds one)

I don't know if I really wanna blow $50-60 on these, or just buy new UPSs. Grrr...

Anyone know of a place to get these batteries cheaper? 😀

They retail for $20+ at all battery stores around town.

I order a lot of stuff from AllElectronics.com and I have been really pleased with everything.

What kind of UPS are they going into and how long are they good for?

How much is shipping for all those batteries? (Might be a deal killer)

First off, I don't think UPS's are supposed to use Gel Cells. Second, I wouldn't recommend using cheap batteries in a UPS. I bought a cheap battery from batteries.com for a Back-UPS Pro 650 and it started making noises (like gas bubbles) when the UPS charged it. I ended up buying an APC certified replacement and have not had a problem with it.

i replace the ones here at work from a place called atomic batteries, don't know if they are national or not.
last time i replaced them they were around 12 bucks a pop

OK, I sell batteries for a living, for laptops, camcorders, and UPS's. I own the company, and have been selling them for many years. Never, EVER, buy a "used" battery.

Even from a company?
