I have a M715q Desktop (ThinkCentre) that is a tiny desktop running on AMD A6-9500E.

Does anyone know if a MITX board will fit in this tiny chasis?

I'm sick of how slow the computer is to responding and would like to replace it with an intel i5 / i7 if possible.

Why not build a new Ryzen box ? Intel is on a dead end platform, and most are slower than a new Ryzen.

Yeah possibly. I just feel like the A6 gave me a really bad experience.

You wouldnt happen to know what type of board would be able to replace a lenovo M715Q thinkcentre board would you? Lenovo support isnt very helpful.

Ryzen is a new architechture. Nothing like the old. In fact blows the current Intel away.

As far as your question, I am sorry, I have no idea. Replacement would be the next idea.

Mark they dont make ryzen's that small...
Trust me ive been looking for one.

If size is a concern, your best option is an intel nuc or Intel version of that unit.
However i have the intel version of that unit and its horrible. Lenovo completely botched the design on that case, and would highly recommend you go down the HP Elitedesk / Prodesk route.

Most likely there is probably nothing wrong with your unit, its most likely throttling to hell, which is the problem i have on my Intel.
The thing throttles like hell, and it has almost no airflow in that really poor design.

That is why I suggested a new Ryzen box. You can't have anything with any speed at all in a box that size.
