My friend has a cracked and bleeding screen on his iPod video. Can you guys give recommendations on good places to purchase quality replacement screens? We see them on eBay for $15, but don't know about their quality.
 
ifixit.com has parts pulled from used iPods. PowerBookMedic might have what you are looking for as well.
 
Careful replacing that screen. I'm sure the battery will be disconnected before you/the friend replaces the screen, but if not make sure you don't shock the shit out of yourself.
 
ebay is cheap as hell if you find a good seller. i bought all my ipod replacement parts there, except maybe batteries.
