Replacement LCD's

So somehow mine got broken up but still works so I am on the hunt for another.

Anyways its a B150PN01 v.2 and seems to be easy to find.

My question is alot of them say pin numbers, which set are they counting?

I'm assuming its not where it plugs into the mobo, because so many variances bewteen manufactures there. I'm assuming its the pins on the LCD, which I counted and was 30.

Also I find the same LCD from different sellers, same brand AU Optronics, but some say XGA or UXGA. If the pinout is the same and LCD is 15" is it going to matter really?

Thanks Guys

Is this a laptop LCD or dekstop LCD?

Desktop monitors are normally not calssified by 'xga' or 'uxga' so I'm going to guess you're talking about a laptop screen.

In which case I would ask what model laptop this is?

You could try hunting on ebay for that laptop model followed by the word, 'display'. My buddy and I are watching ebay for a Samsung WUXGA (1920*1200) display for his MacBook Pro, so you can almost definitely find it.

Also, replacing the LCD in a laptop is not a real chore usually. Apple makes it difficult in some of their machines by gluing the bezel together (Fiends!!!)

Sorry forgot to mention laptop, I was in the laptop & etc forum so i didn't think of mentioning it.

Its for a HP ZT1000, i already have it apart.

I'm used to doing company WO's so every thing is under warranty and I don't have to cross ref things.

Anyway i am looking at this one on ebay right now
