A fellow I know recently tried to swap motherboards in a laptop, but couldn't figure out how to put it back together. While the laptop (a Toshiba of some sort) was pretty straightforward, I found that he had not removed the clamps on the flat flexible cables (FFCs, in DIY projector lingo - I don't know what the correct term is) and tore off some of the contacts.
Here's an (admittedly poor) picture - this cable has only one bad contact, but some are half-gone!

As far as I can tell, these are more or less standardized items. Anyone know where I can get some?
