Ceramic is much less hazardous, but degrades faster. my brother and SIL cook allot and went with stainless except for one pan for eggs, because they stick so easily. All Teflon products today should be PTFE based which is safer than the older PFOA based coating process.Want to replace the aging Teflon cookware. I've seen ceramic being used but that too tends to be a coating; not sure if that would also release particles into food. Any recommendations?
