My 10 year old .audio 90 headset finally died. The kids handled it roughly and on side is not working and I can't pinpoint where the break is.
So I'm looking for a pair of budget but good headsets that are comfortable (I often wear them for many hours at a time). Usage is gaming, music and video conferencing for work, so a noise suppressing mic would be good.
Looking at sub-$50 if possible, so the suggestion is recent thread below are way out of my range.
I'm looking at the likes of the like of Creative Fatal1ty, Logitech G230, Sennheiser PC 310 Gaming Headset, Plantronics GameCom 380, SteelSeries 5Hv3... but not sure what's the best / best value.
I keep reading the Fatality is not very good for music.
My teenage kid has a G320 and it feels a little big (closed cans cover the whole ears) and less comfortable than the .audio 90 which had swiveling ear pads.
I'd rather avoid a USB-only headset since I have a decent sound card, but I would consider it if for some reason it's a best choice
