My 14-month old LMP Bluetooth Keypad has died.

It appears that, in the last year, the Amazon reviews on it have gotten more negative, so I would like to replace it which a better alternative.

One thing it never did (which I knew when I bought it) was work in Windows, which I would like, if possible. I do not need a built in calculator screen.

What are the best alternatives?

Get the K750 then. The Apple keyboard has an inferior scissor action anyway and it's a clatterfest.

How are Logitech's trackpads? I have the K810 at home, and definitely like it better than my Apple aluminum keyboard, and I'm thinking about getting the TK820 with the integrated trackpad for work.

Not to derail, but it seemed opportune

Stu, if you are looking to off-load your Apple aluminum KB, fling it my way ;)

Haven't tried it. I guess I should at some time, but I don't really have time for trackpads on the desktop - all of the Magic KiddiefingerpaintPads I do use, I use solely as a left-hand gesture controller (but more really to just use some of the deluge of them I have in some way), or actually usefully on top of keyboards (of the music kind) only - and then only in OS X.

One that matches the Apple keyboard is the Belkin YourType:

The construction is actually pretty nice, I think the LMP one is terrible. I'm not sure the quality otherwise (I haven't used it beyond a few minutes), but I think it's worth a look.

I like how those look, but they are more pricy than I am looking to spend on a keypad.

I am kinda getting use to not having a keypad, but I have not done my taxes yet - I may miss it when it comes time for serious number entry.
