Replacement for gadgets in Win10?

Frankly the lack of gadgets is one of the biggest things making me hesitant to to the 7 -> 10 upgrade. I keep CPU and GPU monitoring gadgets on my second monitor so I can see their temp, load, and other status at a glance even when gaming full screen. As well as a weather gadget for convenience.

As far as I know gadgets are still dead in 10, but is there some replacement for this functionality?

I plan to try it. I can't live without my CoreTemp gadget.

If you install 8gadgetpack you can have your gadgets back. I've installed it on my 8.1 machines along with classic shell and they look just like win 7 with the updated underpinnings.
