Looking for the closest thing to a COOLER MASTER SGM-6000-KLLW1-GP Sentinel Advance as a replacement as they no longer sell this exact model.
Back-story (optional):
A couple years ago I got a COOLER MASTER SGM-6000-KLLW1-GP Sentinel Advance free with a Storm Sniper case. It sat in the box for a while on the assumption that it was junk being free and all.
At some point the mouse found its way in to service and it was awesome! I used it for a couple years and loved it but the mouse quit working after a lightning storm. Tried flashing the firmware but it didn't take. After the failed attempt the mouse was no longer recognized.
No big deal, the G9x was on sale so the Sentinel got replaced. Been using the G9x for 6 weeks or so and I just don't like it. The shape is odd and a bit too wide and I hit the left button by accident at least once per stealth mission alerting everyone in the area. Oh and the liftoff distance is too far, it works too far off the surface.
Got a Performance Mouse MX that I like fairly well but the curves just don't hit in the right spot. The darkfield tracking is awesome but I preferred the Sentinel.
What would make a good replacement?
Cooler Master Storm Sentinel Advance II Gaming Mouse (SGM-6010-KLLW1)?
CM Storm Sentinel Z3RO-G (the specs on this one read closer to the SGM-6000-KLLW1-GP Sentinel Advance)?
