I have a 650W XXX Edition XFX PSU and it started making a really annoying clicking sound like on the YouTube video below.

The PSU is still covered by warranty and XFX authorised my RMA, which is good. The bad news is that I'm in Brazil, and it would cost me about US$60 to send it to be repaired. Not to mention that it can take up to 60 days for it to get back to me, considering shipping and customs procedures.

So I'm more than willing to lose the warranty and change the fan myself, but I can't find a suitable 135mm fan anywhere. Is it even possible to buy one? As the fan is a lot smaller and lighter than the entire PSU, shipping it to Brazil would be way more feasible.

I'd appreciate any help I can get, thanks for reading!

One of these Scythes should fit...

even Amazon has it, not sure if either of them will ship. Just search for that model.. good luck!

I doubt a 140 would fit but I think a 120 might work with a bit of work around... afterall the PSU needs some air, as long as there is a fan moving air into it, the size should not matter.

I bought it on august 2010. Great PSU, dead silent for most of its time with me, until its fan started clicking in january 2012.

I ended up selling it to someone willing to live with the noise. The replacement will be a Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold, which is modular and affordable enough here in Brazil. Special thanks to DesiPower for the help!
