Replacement fan draws more amps

I need to replace a noisy heatsink fan in an IBM Aptiva and I don't want to pay IBM $35 for the replacement. The closest I can find to the original (same physical size: 5cm square x 1cm) draws .13 amps where the original draws .07 amps. Also, the original is 2 wire (no tach wire) and the replacement has a tach wire. I intend to solder the original 2 wire motherboard connector to the replacement by simply not connecting the tach wire. Does this sound like it will work? Is there any problem with the additional current draw?
