Replacement fan and ramsinks for 9800 pro

Leros

Lifer
The fan on my 9800 pro has started making some nasty noises and I fear it is going to die. My dad doesnt want to spend the money to upgrade (He just bought me a $6500 car yesterday so I dont blame him).

He gave me a budget of $70, which should be more than I need. What I choose does not need to be silent, but I dont want something that sounds like a jet either. I want to get some ramsinks while I'm at it so I can overclock a bit.

What do you guys reccomend? (also, my case gets decent, but not the best circulation around the PCI/AGP slots, so slot exhaust is a plus)

Edit: Well, nevermind my told me he changed his mind and will give me money to upgrade to an x800.

What kind of X800 you getting? My bud recently picked up an X800PRO for $179 from the ATI clearance store. It works grrreat, and has a 3 year warranty to boot.

Im looking at the Asus X800 Pro. Text

I dunno about getting a refurbished card, Ive heard at least one story of getting a bad card off that deal.

Hey, you can't beat the 3 year warranty. If it's a bad card, it'll probably poop out long before the warranty runs out. I would also choose an XL over the PRO if you really want to get a new one. I would also get an XL over the PRO, if you want a new card. The AGP XL comes pretty cheap on newegg, I think.

Arr.
