Had power go on and out on me a bunch of times last thursday. Computer won't post since, seems I need a new motherboard. I don't want to spend much as this computer won't be my main computer. Any suggestions?

I used to have an Asus P5K that served me very well.
Get an Asus or Gigabyte P35 or P45 off ebay or maybe even WTB on the forums.

The Biostar g41 boards had less features and overclocking but were very reliable and snappy too.

Yeah already did that, and used multimeter to test powersupply, all that looks fine.

What I am looking for is a long term reliable, basic overclocking options as just doing small overclock. Other than that just need 2 DDR2 slots, IDE, SATA, and other basic things. Also somewhere around 50 bucks give or take.

Looks to me like intel might be the way to go, though I would like to find one with some basic overclocking options.

Looks like ebay is my best option. Just checking out what is there then going to order one.

I often shop on eBay for older parts, usually finding not only quality but great price too. A $50 used quality mobo is usually worth more than a brand new $50 basic one.
