Replacement battery for Dell XPS 15 Touch

this is a 2 year old laptop with the extended battery. This is not a removable battery in the sense that it's easy to take out. you need to unscrew the back case off to get to it.

Can't find anything that would lead to a purchase by googling. Will Dell let me purchase one if I contact them?
 
Dell will not let you purchase the battery alone. You can order a new battery from Dell by calling technical support, and they will either send a technician to your home, or let you send / drive the laptop to an authorized service center for replacement, depending on your Warranty setup.
