replacement batter for Thinkpad T60

I just bought a used T60, which is in great shape except for the battery, which only holds a charge for about 2 hours. I'd like to get a new 9-cell battery for it but am hesitant to pay the $200 Lenovo wants for a new one (this is 50% more than what I paid for the laptop!). Of course there are lots of generic batteries on ebay, but it's hard to know whether any of them are good. Can anyone offer some advice for getting a decent battery that won't break the bank?

I have a T30 in the same situation. I had the battery rebuilt and it lasted quite a while. The label came off the battery, but if you ask around this forum, somebody should be able to tell you.

I bought one from this place last Nov for my T60, still holds a charge. It was around $92 shipped I think. I tried one of the aftermarket batteries from Amazon for an R60 once, and it only lasted a few cycles, won't hold a charge now.

found these guys on Reseller ratings 8-10months ago, and gave them a shot for my Dell battery replacement.... it has been working great

I see they have replacements for the T60 too...

I found one on Amazon for my T30 - it was $30. The seller had like 1,000+ reviews, 98% or so positive, though.
