I hate my dyslexia. I am having real trouble figuring this out. So I lost the two AC Adaptors for my two favorite External cases in a recent move.

They are very similar cases...

and

http://www.startech.com/HDD/Enclosures/USB-30-35in-SATA-HDD-Enclosure~S3510BMU33B

The StarTech lists:

Input Current: 600ma
Input Voltage: 100-240 AC
Output Current: 2A
Output Voltage: 12 DC
Plug type: M
Power Source: AS Adaptor included

I have tried searching online for replacements but am overwhelmed by the choices. None seem to line up exactly with what I need. Anyone have more brain power than me in this matter? What do I buy? I do not want to accidentally under or overpower my drives and fry them.

You are in NYC and the plug type is "M" ????

Common, that's Swaziland S. Africa.

Just go to Fry's Electronics and get a generic 12v rated for 2A/600ma or better. It should come with a bunch of adapters or an adapter head one of which will be suitable (ie, size & polarity) to plug into the back of your enclosure.

There's many different kinds to select from in the small components department (was just there).
