I replaced an LCD in a DV6108nr with an OEM one and after plugging it in and testing it before reassembling the bezel I got 1 screen with 4 desktops. It boots up with the 4 views and continues like this into windows. I have never had this happen when replacing an LCD can anyone shed some light?

So, just to be clear replaced LCD in a DV6108nr laptop, tested the lcd which is displaying quadrants.

Clear the video drivers and then reinstall them.

Does it split up into 4 as soon as you turn on the computer before windows even starts booting?
That does sound like an odd issue.
Check to see if the connections for the screen is secure and well connected?

Right at the boot up, connection secured.

This is the second time i've seen this come up. Sounds like it may be a rash of mislabeled or bad screens. Kind of like the GPU isn't detecting the monitor right or the monitor is reporting itself wrong.
