Replaced HSFU; No POST

Replaced stock P4 478 HSFU with XP-90 and now system will not POST. CPU is Prescott 3.0.

First, it was a ah heck to get stock unit out. Actually pulled CPU in the process. Bent pin on original CPU, bad, got different processor and installed it. Mounted XP-90 on CPU and connected to power. Fans spin, but, no POST.

Not sure where to go from here. Really don't want to disassemble system.

Could I have hosed the CPU socket when removing stock unit?

I did reset bios to no avail.

What say you all?
