Replace TriBand 802.11n with DualBand 802.11ac mPCIe card

I just got an 802.11ac access point.
I thought I would upgrade the WiFi card in my laptop, so I got an Intel 7260ac card, which is dual band.
When I opened up my laptop, I found that I had a tri-band card in my laptop.

I'm still assuming that the upgrade is worth it?

If so, the antennas are labeled 1, 2, 3. Should I just use 1 & 2?

Complete, utter failure.
I tried the replacement, but got a BIOS level error on bootup that the file was not authorized, and promptly shut down.

Disable SecureBoot in the system BIOS if it has that option.

Is this an HP laptop? because HP was/is known to limit the MPCIE cards to only allow their own certified cards (Probably to get more $$ and to limit end users expansion options)
