Replace toner cartridge or refill for Brother Laser printer?

I have a brother HL-4400 laser printer which has gotten me good use up until now. The toner is starting to run low and I would like suggestions about refilling the toner versus buying a new toner cartridge? Also brother versus generic.
 
You can refill the toner about 3 times without any problem. We have done it for years in our office without a single problem.
