the amd duron 800 heatsink is all aluminum with a footprint slightly larger, but is quite a bit taller. i am not worried about the asethics. will it take away the heat sufficently? and can i still plug it into the power onboard?
my guess is no on the plugging in... i think the current 8500 fan is 5v and the cpu fan is 12v. there is a nearby power source on the mobo.
i'd prefer not to spend 10 bux on a new vga hs/fan.
